Let’s admit it, every time an industry leader comes up with a great product, imitators are always ready to come up with their own imitation. It did not take long for other companies to come up with their own versions of iphone after apple launched it in 2007. Iphone clones were flooding the market and were ready to satisfy many eager consumers who cannot afford the expensive iphone.

Today there are a lot of iphone competitors hoping to get their share of sales. Iphone killers started to convinced buyers to buy iphone clones for cheaper price but with almost exactly the same features. Iphone competition is heating up with more than 10 companies releasing their own iphone versions.

Some of the companies who jumped into the band wagon include Meizu, a Chinese company which has the most daring copy of iphone. M8, Meizu’s iphone clone even strived to be better than apple and in most cases have achieved their goal. Nokia, also come up with its own version of iphone, although not directly similar but with comparable form factor. Garmin International also comes up with its own iphone killer. It has a better GPS module than iphone.

There are still many other companies who have designed their own iphone clones and are enjoying the iphone fever started by apple. In the end, it is the consumers who will benefit from this rivalry among companies who are willing to get into the edge and capture the widest market possible.
